Harsh Ranjan

Harsh Ranjan is a senior software engineer at Snowflake, where he builds the data governance and data-quality foundations behind monitoring, profiling, and trust at scale — including privilege-aware APIs and metric-driven frameworks used by both UI and programmatic consumers. He previously worked on distributed systems and telemetry-driven services at Microsoft and Facebook. His focus now is architectural: designing governed, modular AI pipelines that stay reliable as instructions, policies, and exceptions pile up inside a single workflow — the failure mode he takes apart in “Engineering Beyond the Rule of Eight.”
